Welcome to Yegara HOST! Every new hosting account starts with a placeholder page, so your domain shows something until your own site is ready. It is a file named index.html<\/code> in your public_html<\/code> folder, and it looks like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing this page is good news: it means your domain and your hosting are working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why you still see it after adding your site<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you uploaded your website or installed WordPress and the Coming Soon page is still there, the placeholder file is still in the folder. The server shows index.html<\/code> before anything else, so it wins over your own home page. Delete the file and your site appears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remove the Coming Soon page<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 1.<\/strong> Log in to cPanel. You can open it from your Yegara dashboard or with the link in your \u201cNew Account Information\u201d email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2.<\/strong> In the Files<\/strong> section, click File Manager<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3.<\/strong> Click public_html<\/strong> in the left column.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4.<\/strong> Select the file named index.html<\/code> and click Delete<\/strong> at the top of the File Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5.<\/strong> Confirm. You can move the file to the trash or delete it permanently. The trash is safer, because you can restore the file if you change your mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Standard hosting the steps are the same in the File Manager of DirectAdmin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you now see “403 Forbidden”<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This means there is no home page file left for the server to show. Your site’s own index.html<\/code> or index.php<\/code> must sit directly inside public_html<\/code>, not inside a subfolder. Upload your site or install WordPress, and the error goes away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
