If you forgot the password of your hosting control panel, you can set a new one from your Yegara dashboard. You do not need the old password, and the same steps work for cPanel and for DirectAdmin.
Set a new password
Step 1. Log in to your Yegara dashboard at yegara.com/login. If you forgot that password too, click Forgot your password first. See How to Reset Your Yegara Dashboard Password.

Step 2. Click Hosting & Services.
Step 3. Click Manage next to your domain name.

Step 4. Under Password, click Click To Change.

Step 5. Type a new password and click Save.

You can now log in to cPanel or DirectAdmin with the new password.
If the new password does not work
- Choose a stronger password. The server refuses weak ones. Use a long, random password with letters, numbers and symbols. A generator such as 1password.com/password-generator makes one for you.
- Copy and paste it when you log in, and make sure no space was copied at the end.
Good to know
- This also works when someone changed the password inside cPanel without telling you. The password you set here replaces it.
- If you know the current password and only want a different one, you can also change it inside cPanel. See Changing Your cPanel Password.
