Thinking about a VPS, or waiting for one you ordered? Here is what you get, how billing works and how long delivery takes.

What a VPS includes
- A Linux server (Ubuntu by default) with full root SSH access.
- One dedicated public IPv4 address.
- 20 TB of bandwidth.
- Freedom to install what you need, including Docker.
Not included: a domain name, an email service, a control panel such as cPanel, or Windows. Sizes and prices are at yegara.com/vps.
What “unmanaged” means
You install, secure and maintain the software on the server yourself. Our support covers the hardware and the network connection only.
Billing terms
- A VPS is billed for 3 or 6 months. The minimum is 3 months; there is no monthly or yearly term.
- There is no free trial.
- Payment is by CBE or Telebirr, confirmed the same way as any other order. See How to Confirm Your Payment.
Delivery time
- Standard setup: usually ready 24 to 48 hours after your payment is confirmed. We cannot promise an exact time because stock is limited, and some sizes are sold as pre-order.
- Instant setup: ready in about 10 minutes. Choose this if you need the server sooner.
Your login details arrive by email, so check the spam folder too. You will be asked to change the root password the first time you log in.
While your order shows Pending
- Make sure you confirmed the payment on the invoice page. A transfer alone does not start the order.
- With the standard setup, a pending order within the first 48 hours is normal.
- If it has been longer, send us your invoice number in chat.
Upgrading later
You can move to a larger VPS later. You pay only the difference between your current package and the new one. Ask us in chat and our team will do the upgrade.
Backups, traffic and expiry
- Backups: an optional automatic daily backup add-on keeps 7 copies of your server.
- Traffic: if the server uses more than 20 TB, its network is disconnected.
- Expiry: a VPS is suspended 3 days after it expires if it has not been renewed.
