If you need to Point your domain name to a Service , Yegara gives you the option to do so using nameservers. If the service you are trying to point it to does not have nameserver option, you can point your domain to cloudflare ( free ) to manage your DNS records ( A, CNAME … )
Lets say you want to point your domain to vercel , For Vercel the nameservers are:
ns1.vercel-dns.com
ns2.vercel-dns.com
To change your nameserver : Login to your yegara account and navigate to your domain name and click on manage.
- Click on Name Server
- Add the Nameservers
- click on on Update Name Sever to save
This will be processed automatically every Minute . The tag ( processing ) will be displayed to indicate it is propagating .
To verify the changes you submitted are applied , use tools like intodns.com or dnschecker.org
Note: Domain propagation can take anywhere from 24 hours to 48 hours. Read more about Propagation
Troubleshooting : Nameserver is not applying.
- Make sure the Nameserver you are entering is valid .
- If the domain name is new, check the domain name is registered before you can make changes to it.
