When a client receives a business proposal, an invoice, or an inquiry, the very first thing they notice is the sender’s address.
A generic @gmail.com or @yahoo.com tells them you are a side project or running a casual operation. But when they see [email protected], the dynamic shifts instantly. It communicates permanence, authority, and high-level status. In the modern market, a professional domain isn’t just an IT task—it is a statement that you have arrived.
Why It Matters
- Trust at a glance.
[email protected]signals an established business; a Gmail or Yahoo address signals a side project, fairly or not. - Your brand, in every inbox. Every email you send is a small, free ad for your business name and domain.
- It’s already included. If you host with Yegara, business email comes with every plan — no extra cost, no separate signup.
- You control it. Add staff accounts, remove them when someone leaves, and never lose access because a personal Gmail got hacked or forgotten.
Upgrading your identity takes less than 15 minutes. Here is how to do it in three straightforward steps.
Step 1: Secure Your Custom Domain
To establish your corporate identity, you first need a domain name that belongs entirely to you (e.g., yourbusiness.com or yourbusiness.et).
- If you already have a website: You are halfway there. Your existing domain can host your mailboxes.
- If you are starting fresh: Register a clean domain matching your brand name. Choose a registrar that offers instant activation and localized support so you can get up and running smoothly.
Step 2. Log in to your control panel
Go to your Yegara dashboard and open cPanel (Managed/Premium plans) or DirectAdmin (Standard plan) — your login link and password were right there in your welcome email.
2. Open Email Accounts. In cPanel, find Email > Email Accounts. In DirectAdmin, find Email Manager > Email Accounts. Click Create.
Type the name you want (e.g. sales, info, your own name), set a password, and save.
Step 3 . Start Using it
You can read mail instantly through the built-in Webmail link, or add the account to your phone’s Mail app (Gmail app, Outlook, or the default iPhone/Android mail app) using the server settings shown on the same page.
That’s it — your business now sends and receives mail from its own name.
Don’t have a domain yet? Every Yegara hosting plan comes with a free .com domain and unlimited email accounts — see plans at yegara.com/price, or chat with us on Telegram and we’ll set it up with you.
